As a real ale drinker I agree about Spitfire...but it is like drinking a cheap and nasty Ruby and deciding that port is not for you! Try the Deuchars IPA in the Roundhouse just west of Covent Garden, this is light refreshing beer which girls (lager drinkers) seem to like. :D

Hello all, I am fairly new to Vintage Port as in the past I have been put off by cost. But i am amazed by the variance of prices once you search the internet for a bit, is it really just a matter of shopping around for a good price or are there great high street retailers out there that I cannot see...

I am new to this forum, but I have been a real ale anorak for years! TT Landlord and Fullers London Pride seems a strange comparison as they are completly different beer styles. TT is typical beer from north of the Trent, hoppy, sulphur and a crisp taste where as LP is more heavily bodied and malty....
