Re: Wednesday 24th February 2021 - Online Churchill tasting with the Port Forum

Re: Tue 24 November 2020 - A Tasting with Sophia Bergqvist

Could I change horses please? Was in Waitrose today and purchased a bottle of the Waitrose blend 2017 VP and so I will opt for that instead (as I don't believe that anyone else has). You shouldn't have said that! Now I'm going to have to make an emergency trip to Waitrose for [my essential shopping...

Re: Port for sale by retailer

Waitrose are knocking down the price of the Warre LBV (07), the Sandeman LBV (15) and the Vargellas (02?) by between 20% and 25% currently.

Re: Port for sale by retailer

The Aldi Christmas range has hit the shelves. They are using the Fletchers Brand name this year rather than Maynards, but the 40YO tawny is available again under the new name at £34.99, a 2016 LBV at £9.49 a 20cl Reserve Ruby at £4.99 and online only you can get a 4.5l 10YO Tawny at £99.99! There a...

Re: Auction Prices

Re: Port for sale by retailer - Taylor Scion 1855

Have been approached by Miles Davis of WineOwners.com to see if I was interested in a bottle of the Taylor's Scion 1855. I'm not, but someone here might be? It's duty paid (so no extra VAT) and "from a good collector's home", purchased 2010. The seller is apparently open to offers. If you're intere...
