Re: 1968 Quinta do Noval Colheita

The sales platform on wineowners.com is currently listing a six bottle (in bond) case of this for £875.

It's been on sale for a few months, so the seller might be open to offers?

And just to clarify, I'm not the seller.

Re: Port for sale by retailer - Malvedos 84

Might be of interest...

Corney & Barrow have just listed three 12-bottle OWC cases of Malvedos 84 @ £790 DP.

Guess this is now fairly rare?

Re: Noval 63 Question

Makes sense. I've got some Noval 70 where it's got the UK bottler info (Churton's) on the white part.

I'm guessing Noval supplied the labels to the shipper so they're fairly consistent.

Noval 63 Question

I have two lots of Noval 63, one of which has "GARRAFEIRA PARTICUAR DE ALBERTO AUGUSTO LEITE" on the white strip at the bottom of the label. The other has nothing on the white strip.

Any ideas what this is?

If there's space could I be added?

9th July works OK for me, assuming venue is in London.

Re: TBD - Rebello Valente vertical

I've got one bottle of 1972. Excellent; this is the only bottle of '72 we have amongst us from replies so far, so if you're happy to save it for this tasting that would be appreciated. Also just found a bottle of 1963 that I thought had been drunk. Nice; my experience is usually the other way round...

Two half bottles of Croft (possibly 1960) from a charity sale at Corney & Barrow. One low shoulder & one base of neck. Already opened the low shoulder bottle & it was still pretty good. That’s an excellent purchase. I love half bottles of mature Port. Nominally cost £10 each, so probabl...
