 We could introduce some creativity to this! My train of thought: 1. You have clearly been very active in the last year. 2. Your current ranking goes only to 3000+ posts. 3. A few people are approaching that rank. 4. There is no apparrent contingency for future ranks. So my proposal: If you wa...

And now for a name for the boy. How about Graham? Sounds stylish doesn't it? ...or how about: Martin(ez) - 229th most popular in UK in 2007 Taylor - 88th Warre(n) - 208th Callum (Calem) - 22nd (A bit tenuous I know!) Not quite sure what they would cost me now, but I vaguely recall buying them at Taylors in about 2003 (with my now wife) at something like £30 each. I opened a second bottle of this last night to share with my brother. He was in the UK for 5 days and Texas is not known as an outpost for Port! Again, for around £15 this did not disapoint. However, having returned to it tonight after about 27 hours in the decanter, I think it improves with time. I...

An exciting discovery...!
Was looking through my bottles today and discovered the 2 Taylors Quinta De Vargellas 1995's I have are the Vinha Velha. A totally different proposition I gather having read the TN here!

Depends how you see the time difference - working in your favour or against you! In your favour - 10pm means drinking at 5pm New York time and all us Brits will be done by midnight. Against you - you start at 5pm and drink for 7 hours minimum. The latter could of course also be construed as in your ...

Anyone have any ideas of what the government will tax if they succeed in turning us into a nation of snivelling, unit counting, anaemic wimps who no longer pay their unfair share of excise duty and VAT? + I have no idea! But if the environmentalists can have a party for their own politics, how abou...
