knowing the owner, storage was bad.

this bottle was not impressive.

wednesdays suck but i'll eye it and see if i can make it out.

carmel, almonds, figs/dates, cherries & orange peel. blind noone could have convinced me this was not a tawny. a very good tawny.

started decant at 8:15am, poured back in bottle at 6:15pm.

the 85 croft has been decanting since 8:15am. by the time i get back to it it will be 6:15pm. 10 hours.

*grumble grumble* i'll be there.

it's like a sweet almond and brown sugar reduction, throw in some hazlenuts & figs and toasty caramel/toffee, done.
another under $10 experiment to see if i even care for these things.
