35% opacity, mature red. Didn't take a further note. I thought possibly a hint of TCA but not sure anyone else agreed!

Re: 1966 Croft

25% opacity, tobacco amber. Nose is bursting with treacle. Soft and syrupy, oranges and treacle, lovely balance, elegant. 30% opacity, mature red-orange. Nose has a little TCA. Shame about the TCA as the palate has lovely chewy strawberries.

10% opacity, straw yellow. Almonds on the nose. Soft, smooth chewy almond and vanilla. Seems like a bottle that has started to oxidise, but perhaps only recently.

I should arrive at around 1715 to assist.

Re: Croft vertical, Tue 07 Nov 2023

I can be there early on the 7th, but I can't print. Placemat set-up will need attention given we are 14 and A3+half A4.

Who can print and be there for 5-5.30??

jdaw1 wrote: 22:52 Tue 31 Oct 2023 Harry does have a ’27, and a ’94, and has volunteered both. Thank you.

Food order submitted.

I expect that David G.’s possible ’17 won’t arrive in time, so it has been removed from the placemats. Indeed, placemats believed good: somebody please check.

Placemats checked - look good to me.

10% opacity, straw yellow. Melon, lychee on the nose. Fresh with gentle citrus in the mouth, lemon. Was perhaps not expected to be alive, yet proved otherwise - balanced and refreshing, but only for 60 minutes, after which fell apart somewhat.

45% opacity, red-brown. Nose has sweetness, molasses, and loose tea leaves. In the mouth, molasses, leather and tea. Just a touch on the flabby side, acidity fading a little.
