Re: Tuesday 19th December - 77@40

Unfortunately Dirk can't make this now but has still very kindly offered to provide a bottle of Niepoort. CMAG has thus been promoted from the reserves. Waitrose Cellar have just listed Dow 2011 at £75 a bottle! With free champagne on black Friday

Re: Wed 29th Nov 2017 - A Cálem (mini-)vertical

I've made the executive decision to include the CáF58, CáF66 and CáF80, and made a nominal assignment for who to bring what and adoptions; any objections please let me know. Also please let me know food order by the end of the week (from the usual menu ). Excellent decision, can I suggest we move t...

Re: Tuesday 19th December - 77@40

The line up has now been confirmed, we have 16 shippers, 18 bottles one of which is a magnum thus not bad for a Tuesday night. (first post updated)

Can people contributing bottles please deliver them to the B&F in advance, I will contact people shortly re sorting the costs.

Re: Thursday 2nd November - 1970

Gents, apologies - a bout of Sinusitis and (more troublesome for a Port tasting) a course of antibiotics means that I will not be joining you for this. :x Hope you feel better soon I'm afraid work commitments have also got the better of me so I also need to duck out. I may now be able to attend. Wi...

I have a lot of the former and very few of the latter. Can you Alun (AJH) to the list of attendees for this one ? He will be bringing the T70. Excellen...

Re: Thursday 2nd November - 1970

Unfortunately I can no longer make this evening which, given the theme, I am gutted about. Better move me to the "Would like to, but can't" list. Sorry folks, the Graham 1970 is now needed to console me in my sadness at missing what will be a collection of no doubt fabulous, vintage ports...
