thanks for the confirmation. Proposed 5 invalid then, 4 still highest 3x3. Tasting note index will also need correction.DRT wrote:I can only find a few references to this shipper in books and all of them say "Adams".

Re: Thu 19th December 2013: The Unknown Shipper at the Bell
Tasting note sheets look fine, provided they print (since they occur after distillation log, unchecked). Err, tasting-note sheets are on pages 1 to 48, so the ‟after” is puzzling me. I was only seeing the tasting notes sheets in the "re-ordered" section, rather than ahead of voting sheet...

We went for a no-nonsense wedding, which seemed appropriate after nearly a decade and a half together. Our holiday to Tunisia in October is being considered the honeymoon. There will be a port tasting is 2014 that will qualify as my stag night. 88) Excellent! You threw me off the scent nicely in re...

Seems to bring us back to marriage/civil partnership, but we eliminated that... Aside from that we have births and deaths, not sure of anything further; adoption? (Mostly just guessing something I'm fairly sure is wrong to give someone else with a better idea the chance to go!)

Was this something to do with your business empire? Not nobody’s business empire. Was that double negative deliberate and a clue, i.e. to do with somebody's business empire, just not yours? If the possessive were applied to a plural the apostrophe would go after the terminal s.

The game is a little slow with so few players; We've barely started to guess at this one. In the meantime while awaiting my turn I shall therefore muse a little and see if the quizmaster wishes to comment... What could 1 woman and three men do together? Avoiding the more risqué options, they are a w...

Re: Apostrophe crimes
The problem is that Julian hasn't actually given me a good reason for why it's incorrect. Compare and contrast: • Fine ales from Isle of Skye • Fine ales from ‘Isle of Skye’ What is the purpose of the quotation marks in the latter? I could have understood ‟Fine Isle-of-Skye ales”, as a compound ad...
