A fine movie but not Oscar worthy, however enjoyable and well-acted. I liked it slightly more than my wife who might be the toughest movie critic I know considering how few she enjoys and the many she views. Sherry is a fine tipple and I personally enjoy slmost all, especially in the Amontillado and...

Back prior to the 1950s it was very common for Colheitas to be labeled as Reserve. That was one of the two names allowed by the IVP. British shippers almost never used the Portuguese word Colheita and just about always used the word RESERVE along with the vintage date and even into the 1990s that ra...

Well it is now only 6:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve, I am on the west coast of the USA so further behind than NYC.

The '63 Mackenzie VP is in decanter and we had our first course of seared sea scallops with a 2002 JJ Prum Kabinett Graacher Himmelreich which was such a fine pairing.

Enjoy!

The end of 2007

I waited until the appropriate time to join in here and today was the perfect time. I tried to get on before New Years actually fell but missed it by a bit. I want to wish you at The Port Forum, all the best of HEALTH and many great bottles of Port (and wine in general) during 2008! It has been fun ...
