Just out of curiosity, will we be ordering straight off the regular menu OR is it different? Thanks. Looking forward!

Re: NY : March 17th ACPT: A full decade of Taylors

OK. I'm in. I wasn't aware of the average cost until just now. (I was responding to one of the messages left above (` 5 msgs up) about the bottle that was for a split). Of course, as stated above, I will donate the $ if there are no more bottles to adopt. Anyway, see you on the 17th.

Is anyone looking to split the cost of a $180 bottle adoption? (Is there anyone who doesn't yet have a bottle?)

Re: NY : March 17th ACPT: A full decade of Taylors

Great, thank you! Whoever is "adopting out" , let me know so I can bring the correct $ to contribute. If they are spoken for, I'll donate the $ instead - whichever works best for the group.

Greetings all! I hope you are all doing well. Please count me in for 3/17. I look forward to much to this line up.

Also, G-Man, if you still have bottles for adoption, please let me know whether I should mail you a check now.

Hi G-Man-
Are you sure I am not the 12th? I may be miscounting the tally above but for some reason I think there are only 11 so far with room for 1 more. Anyway, pls let me know. Thanks :-)

Re: ACPT Port Tasting, NYC, 2/19/2010

Hi everybody and a belated happy new year! I won't know until mid-week of the 19th because I am back in grad school and have to see how up to date I am with the major papers that are due the 22nd (ugh!). I know you need a number now for costing purposes so I had better say no. If by mid-week that we...

Thanks for the info. I have to teach that evening. Sorry about the layoff. I am facing an impending lay off as well so I know the feeling all too well. We shall drink soon to celebrate whatever newer and greener pastures we shall find.

Re: NY Halloween Treat Tasting October 30th

Good thinking DOubleD. We can arrive somewhat earlier like at 8 because, as you say, if the table is ready, they certainly would let us sit there. If not all of us arrive until 830, we can start out with drinks. We can even gossip about whoever has not arrived yet! Yippy!!!!! Ha ha. just kidding. An...

Re: NY Halloween Treat Tasting October 30th

8:30 is better since the restaurant is less likely going to make us get up and leave after 2 hours as they would do to the 6:30 people. Plus, we want to relax as we have Port. What are we gonna do on the street at 8:30 at night????

Hi guys! Long time no web. So this is on the 30th right? Those would go well with some of the d...

I will already be in Paris in July but might be back in time to be able to make it July 18 thought not 100% sure. I want to wish Julian the very best just in case I do not get to see him in July. He has been very gracious to come speak about Port at the culinary school as well. Everybody learned a g...
