Re: 1980 Gould Campbell

I got some vanilla bean, cooked black cherry, some dark chocolate. Plus the addl aromas comments above. It, indeed, was very interesting for the students to learn how a wine can change in such small amounts of time.

As per Gman's ques. it took so long because we can only drink so fast :-)

Great. Thanks for finding this site for us. That place has good Moule Frites. I hope g-man will be able to handle it for the whole day to not bake any cakes for the birthdays.

Any of those reservations times is fine for me. I'll check this page on Friday. I'm still longing to find out from G-Man what kind of birthday cake he is baking for me in April. :chef:

I look forward to seeing you all. From what I saw on the restaurant website, they are cash only and they add 20% automatically for the gratuity. I am glad there is no corkage fee. They certainly will deserve the 20% tip and since there is no corkage fee, I think we are getting good value.

Josh, please count me in. Eric D. called and mentioned he would be coming as well. Are we bringing stuff in or can I adopt/chip in?

Please add 2 more to the reservation.

Let us know. I'll check in later.
Cheers!

I confirm. Also, if G-Man decides to cook and if I am not teaching that afternoon, I am glad to arrive earlier to help cook. I think G-Man wrote something about wanting to bake cakes.

G-Man-
Since we are having port, roasted red meats would work best. Of course, do whichever works best for your space. I will bring in some chocolate pieces (not pastries but pieces of chocolate) and perhaps some walnuts, maybe hazelnuts too.

Re: Sat 18 Apr 2009, New York: Classic years of T, F, W

G-Man, would you like me to bring a dish or some chocolates on the 18th? I have access to variations through the culinary/wine school where I teach. I might also be able to bring some walnuts, hazelnuts, etc. Let me know.

Hello.

Please add me in as 1 person. Let me know whether I should simply bring a bottle of my choice or simply chip in. I was trying to figure it out from the previous posts which works best for you.
