Re: Definitely

Sorry, I've gone all Julian on you all There is no need to apologise. Think... it's got 'finite' in the middle. Those being pedantic about postings really should be precise, be able to operate curly quotation marks, and know when to use and how to type an ellipsis. It does indeed have “finite† in ...

No scaling needed.

One version of the placematsmats are A3; one in A4. No scaling needed.

Still, if everything is OK, no further action from me. Enjoy.

Perhaps someone can bring a Fonseca from their cellar, on my behalf, with my settling as appropriate?

Edit, having read my PMs: yes, I would be willing to ‘bring’ half a bottle of Fonseca 1927.

Terrible fortified wines

This website ’s review of the five top tramp wines had me laughing. You might like (website, not wines). MD 20/20, apparently the least worst-tasting of the ‘wines’ under review, is described as: As majestic as the cascading waters of a drain pipe, MD 20/20 is bottled by the 20/20 wine company in W...

ADV’s apostrophe crime

A more pedantic grumble. The “1700’s style of doing whatever† is fine, as the style is of the 1700s. But the 1700s as a set of years beginning with “17†: well that was usual back in the 1700s.
