5pm decanted the 97 for sediment and within 15 minutes poured back into bottle and recorked.

anyways, $38 well spent.

drank over a 3 night period. loads of pecans, orange peel & apricots. 2nd & 3rd night started showing more carmel, figs & brown sugar. perfectly balanced with no detectable heat(20% too!).

tasted twice in the last 3 months with consistant notes of: nose of black cherry, black tea & blackberries. palate of figs plums cherries & chocolate. my impressions are that these two bottles were fully mature...
