Re: 2003 horizontal tasting
morteno: please start a tasting-note thread for each of the ports, and post individual pictures there. That way in years to come if I want to know about one of these ports it’s all there and easily accessible. Thanks.

ThePortForum slogan
Whilst writing a welcome message to a newcomer to :tpf:, I thought of a slogan for us: Decant early and often. Like? Hate? Can you do better? What’s wanted is something shorter than the business-card paragraph: ThePortForum.com is for those passionate about port, and for those new to it. We hold tas...

Sorry, I missed that ‘joke’.
The beginner’s stuff was so popular (i.e., I though it was a good idea) that I’ve added it to the main manual page.

Re: Advice please Gentlemen
Julian, what is the statistical probability that an argumentative and highly amusing thread such as this would emerge around 10 days after more than 10 port-soaked nutters gather together in one place? That depends on our model of the underlying process. E.g., let’s say that every month that passes...

Or become terribly ill. So ill that you are unable to go to the other function with the wife and instead will just stay at home and watch television. Then, perhaps three minutes after she leaves, start to feel better and decide go out ‟just for one, for medical purposes only, with some friends”. To...

Which sevens? ’27, ’77, ’97? 1907 no, ’17 I don’t know, ’37 no; ’47 not generally, ’57 no, ’67 not generally, ’87 not generally. Three or four in the last ten decades. Snorey dull. 17,27,37 - probably intended, but many vintage lotes became colheitas when war spoiled the prospects for a declaration...

Also note the layout of the Symingtons’ placemats, which was partly responsible for inspiring the new /Gaia layout in the placemat software.
