The Barwise corkscrew

Has anyone tried one of these Barwise corkscrews? I seem to have left my old Le Creuset / Screwpull behind me, and noticed that the old model has been discontinued (though I'm sure they're still available). I'm not daft enough to pay £125 for a Durand.

I just got one for £7 from House of Fraser, so obviously I can now go and spend £118 at my local wine merchant.

Difficult to tell from the picture, but the screw seems to have a decent diameter which I tend to prefer to avoid ripping the heart out of wet corks. I'm not so much of a fan of this type of corkscrew though as they don't really give you any control over how the cork gets extracted.
