From what I recall it's ok to irrigate vines used for dry wines. And IIRC, one can also irrigate older vines used for Port with prior permission. But then Prats + Symington are a table wine producer and make only a tiny amount of port. Anyone know what the rules are around irrigation of grapes for table wine in the Douro?
