Symington Family #portloversunite event

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

I received an email today with details of a great charity fund raising event being organised by the Symington Family.

They are putting together a digital gathering – on Sunday 3rd May – where Port lovers from around the world share a glass of Port via a live video conference with members of the Symington family to raise funds to support the International Red Cross COVID-19 emergency appeal.

More details can be found on either of these links. If you like the idea, please do retweet or comment on Instagram:

SFE is trying to encourage as many people as possible to join in order to raise as much money as possible for the Red Cross in what should be a fun way. So if you know of anyone else who would like to join please feel free to share. I plan to use the event as an excuse to stop gardening early that day and - if the weather holds - to enjoy an early White Port and tonic!
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
