I´m just came back from a trip to Lisboa, and of course for me it was one duty to visit the Solar do Vinho do Porto.
It is located in the quarter Bairro Alto (just in front of the elevador when you go up from Metro station Restauradores), which is very well know as party and bar headquarter of Lisbon.
This solar hasn´t the spectacular rooms like the Oportos and is much smaller. But furniture is quite nice, and more important, the have a full range of Ports, that can be tasted (much Tawnies,Colheitas, Reservas, Whites and LBV´s, but no Vintage Ports by glass) for keen prices. I had there an Barros Colheita from 1983, only 5,4€ (8cl) and a glass of 10y white from Andresen, what was about 2€.
So this can be a very good starting point for long night at Bairro Alto...
