First of all, I would recommend NOT cleaning the bottles. People who buy these old ports don't mind dust and dirt and you risk damaging labels or bottles if you clean them.

Secondly, are you able to post pictures of the bottles you are looking to sell. If we can get an idea of the condition they are in, we might be able to give you some guidance as to the best way to sell them and a rough idea of the net you can expect to receive.

And lastly, let us know roughly where you are so we can hopefully direct you to a local route to sell the bottles.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

The pictures are, ahem, rather small. Please upload the original full-size camera pictures.

Some lovely bottles there. There would be some concern with the levels however as it suggests that they would have been subject to some temperature variation over the last 50 or so years.

You might get an offer to buy these bottles from someone on this forum. If you don't get any expressions of interest over the next few days then post a message back in this thread and we'll give you some guidance as to how you could go about selling them.
