Burmester 10 year old Port 1 bottle in a box

Hi-the above was purchased in Portugal some 20 years ago.It has laid at the back of my garage for all this time.Sadly,I do not think I could not do it justice.Could anybody give me any advice re present worth?

It’s worth very little. A fiver, perhaps. It will be pleasant enough to drink, but not great.

Have you a friend to whom you could give it?

Alternatively it would make a nice base for a port reduction, if you are a cook.

It is definitely worth very little - even a fiver might be a bit optimistic.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
