Decanted 1 hour. 80% opacity, cloudy, mature dusty red-brown. Nose of stewed red fruit, strawberry, also with some spices. In the mouth, big fruit, sweetness, chocolate, with some very gentle smooth tannins towards the end. Not much by way of acidity and so lacks a solid structure - a little flabby. However,very tasty and a nice long aftertaste. Perhaps not such a long life ahead, but this bottle provided superb company to three grilled lamb chops
