D + 0 hours: Medium-deep colour and moving towards tawny. What is this? The last bottle was a pale pink specimen. A bouquet of cacao with a palate of chocolate dipped spiked dates with a calvados finish from spirit perhaps. Rich and developing.

D+ 24 hours: The colour had lightened to that pale pink that I recall. Rose petals emerge as well as violets and a lighter, tighter palate tasting rich and sweet; red fruited with no heat. Long finish. This is coming into its own.
