T80 from JDAW, decanted 09:45. Dark red, 50% opaque. Big rich and soft. Mid-palate a possible hint of Taylor grit. Too young. Needs 5 years. Lovely.

My second favourite of the night. Others thought well of it, but less than I did.

Decanted 9 hours, 40% opacity, warm red. Gentle entry, little/no acidity, quick to the finish but with an aftertaste of red fruits. Medium weight, no tannins. Julian says too young, I thought it lacked some backbone and wasn't convinced it will improve massively on the evidence of this bottle. Guessed SW77.

Mid red-pink, no browning. Some sour cherries in the nose. Very nice in the mouth, soft and velvety, not big and young. Mature but not terribly so.

Red, in early maturity; 70% opaque. Little showing on the nose, just a touch of dirty rose hips. Early maturity on the palate, soft and gentle fruit with some gentle tannins still providing support to the fruit. The fruit is restrained at first but grows well on the late palate. There is a sharp burst of acidity on the aftertaste before a long-lasting rose-hip syrup finish and a hint of greenness. Great length. Served blind this was guessed to be Warre 1986 LBV. 89/100.
