Cr70. Bright red, 50% opaque. Big, full, soft. Dry. Very lovely. Big weight, full bodied, but dry. An early candidate for WOTN, but sharing my top votes with the F77 and T66.

35% opacity, warm red. Smooth, sugar, but dry. Well-balanced. Guessed to be W70.

Showing a tone of red indicating early maturity, no youth but no bricking; 40% opaque. Nothing showing on the nose, amazingly empty - nothing but perhaps a little fresh cut grass. Restrained but fragrant on the palate, still surprisingly youthful compared to the colour with lots of tannins in the modest bodied palate. Lots of sweet loganberry fruit shows on the mid and late palate but overall the palate is still closed. Sweet and cloying on the aftertaste with the charcoal tannins dominating the finish. Good strawberry wine-gum length. This is a port which will reward more time in the cellar. Served blind this was guessed to be Graham 1970. 88/100.
