1983 Offley Boa Vista
Deep red with a narrow rim and an opaque centre. Not mature but no youthful purple. Little on the nose other than some faint floral, purple bramble fruit. A lovely fruit-led palate, silky fruit with some soft tannins showing under the sweet strawberry fruit. Mature on the palate, but still with a lot of ageing potential ahead of it. Lovely sweet raspberry jelly finish and a gentle length. Served blind this was guessed to be Warre 1994. 92/100. 27-Oct-15. 10 hour decant.
