Deep red but with a mature hint; 90% opaque centre. Port smelling to be in early maturity, a lovely nose of red jelly beans and cranberries. Neutral entry, mid-palate showing some sour and modest fruit and lively but well integrated tannins. Pleasant, sweet but saccahrine sweetened jellied fruit with burnt coffee on the finish. Good length. Served blind, this was guessed to be Tesco 1994. 86/100. 27-Oct-15. 25½ hour decant.
