1999 Sainsbury TTD
Some bricking. Light nose. Plums, alcohol and cough sweets. Enough tanins and acidity to balence sweetness but light on fruit. Cherry cough medicine. Finishes a bit light, though decent length, plums and cherries with green and woody notes, more cough medicine and slightly bitter aftertaste. Interesting enough as a cellar defender (it wasn't expensive) and much better than a year ago when it was somewhat disjointed. Selo broken underneath capsule, so assume was recorked?

Tonight this has filled out nicely. The green bitterness has receded, replaced by tasty liquorice. Still on the light side but no faults and neither jammy nor stewed.
