Drunk at CSD's Proper Emergency.

Bottled by Berry Brothers & Rudd. Light red, the colour of rose gold at the rim; 40% opaque. Mature on the nose, smelling of fragrant fruit; delicate and lifted to give a lovely elegance of nutskins and sloe berries. Smooth and refined entry with a fabulous elegance to it. Medium bodied but intense on the mid-palate, which grows very impressively. A delicious balance with a refined acidity keeping a sharp focus to the flavoursome fruit. A tasty and delicious aftertaste that keeps the elegance to the sweet and sour fruit. This is just so refined. Served blind, this was guessed to be Warre 1955. Sourced from Nickolls & Perks. 94/100. 14-Oct-15. Decanted 2 hours.
