Drunk at CSD's Proper Emergency.

Offered for sale in the UK by Grants of St James, but bottled by the Swedish State Liquor Monopoly. From a bottle ullaged to mid-shoulder. Burnt ochre in colour with a green tinged edge; 20%. Initially smelly on the nose when freshly decanted but this blew off after an hour or so in the glass to leave a bit of cabbage and cigar ash. Sweet and slightly syrupy texture with cigar ash flavours on the palate, then a bitterness and unpleasant bitter edge. Intense sour cherry with a dry finish of burnt sugar. Not a good bottle. 81 14-Oct-15 2015 55 1 hour
