Bottled in 1937 by Fearon Block. Identified from the branding on the cork. Candied red fruit on the nose, slightly flat from the short decanting time. By contrast rather vigorous on the palate with lots of spices showing strongly. Dark and powerful with plenty of vigour and liveliness on the palate with the spices never fading away. The spices carry through and mix with the dark chocolate on the aftertaste with candied dark cherries combining with the spice and chocolate on the very long finish. This is tremendous port. 93/100.
