NV Taylor Crusted 1978

NV Taylor Crusted Bottled 1978 Browning with a thinning rim. At D+4hrs v closed, with a musty nose. I almost gave up on this but returned to it D+24hrs and to my surprise found a very pleasant port with nice fruits showing through, no unpleasantness on the nose and a medium length smooth finish that had a very light underlying alcohol heat accompanying it. I am glad I gave it another try as it was a lovely drink the next day!

Drunk 12th December 2015 - Bottle without label but the Taylor's symbol below the neck on this bottle seems only to have been on bottles post 1972 and pre 1992, and then the cork identified the juice precisely.
