Decanted 13:30 (after the nose of the NN87 seemed wrong).

70% opacity, dark red. Tannic mouthfeel, good fruit - dark plums. Not quite in balance though. Maybe another 5 or 10 years for this to really get into stride.

Deep red but not youthful in appearance, 95% opaque at the centre. Fruity nose, elegant and attractive. A balanced palate with plenty of fruit and generous tannins. Lively mid- and late-palates full of fruity and chalky tannins. Gentle aftertaste with a tannin-dried finish with plenty of fruit and a slight woodiness at the end. Good port. 87/100. 08-Feb-16. Decanted 7 hours.

GM87 My only notes were "very very very fruity", and very deep in colour.

I wonder if this has closed up. In the past it has shown considerably better, both here and on your side of the pond.
