V06 100% opacity. Big, Young, fruity, sweet, lots of tannins and very dry on the finish.

My feet were in the lagar for this vintage, the first time I trod grapes during a harvest. I may be biased as to the quality because of my involvement, but I rated this port very highly in the vertical.

Deep red, slightly youthful; opaque with a very narrow rim. Youthful nose, full of freshly crushed blackcurrants - very attractive. Fruit dominates the entry with a powerful mouthful of blackcurrants and even more tannins. Strong acidity cuts through the rich and powerful late palate. Fragrant and perfumed on the aftertaste, full of blackcurrant fruit; astonishing length finish. This is a great port. 94/100.
