2013 Quinta dos Muros

Quinta dos Muros from Portal. More scarlet in tone that the Bulas shown alongside, narrow rim. Lifted nose, full of sour concentrated blackcurrant. Generous tannins on the palate, with a green grassy tone mixed in with the fruit. The tannins become very fierce and powerful to give a very lively finish and a great length. This has the structure to age for decades. 88-90/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16
