2013 Quevedo

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Very purple in colour, opaque. An amazing nose of nettles and fresh grass. Sweet and exotic fruit on the palate with purple plums and lychees. Good tannins, beautifully balanced to give a fragrant and delicious port that has a stunning level of complexity that is full of flowers and leads to a lovely finish full of softly chewy tannins. 91-93/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
