Dark crimson with a narrow rim. A soft baked blackcurrant nose with the fruit leading a range of other scents. Smooth and balanced entry, bringing sweet fruit and gentle tannins. Round and balanced on the mid-palate with the tannins more pronounced and some lovely floral elements. Blackcurrants dominate the finish. A very enjoyable young port. 88/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
