2011 Quinta da Senhora do Convento

Deep purple with no rim; subdued on the nose. Smooth and intense on entry with a velvet texture. Intense sweet violets and blueberries do their best to hide the tannins, but the tannins are clear and give a lively pepper dust finish. A wonderful mouthful of port, as good now as it was when first released. 95/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
