Pale chestnut red, 30% opaque. A sweet nose of dried cranberries and brown sugar. Light in texture with the brown sugar leading the flavours. Spicy and hot on the mid-palate with the alcohol showing strongly; very bitter with little fruit and a lot of tertiary characteristics. Bitters dominated aftertaste, hot and a little unpleasant. The finish is long, bitter and of modest volume. 84/100.

FG65. Red-brown, 30% opaque. Palate of red cherry, full, and almost long. Lovely Port, but lighter than perfect.
