Within the regulation week of DRT’s 51st birthday, we (DRT, JDAW, IDJ, AHB, THRA, SCD, CPR, ARM, and TC) brought “a bottle of VP, blind or sighted” to the Boot and Flogger.

A beautiful polished redwood in colour, 50% opaque. A touch smelly on the nose, not attractive and smelling vaguely of rotting fruit. Balanced on entry with bruised cherries and a dryness to the core that is rather surprising for a Graham port, but there is a nice balance to the mid-palate. Good complexity on the palate with plenty of nuances and some dry tannins. A touch of antiseptic on the aftertaste before a charcoal dry tannin and bruised cherry finish. 88/100.
