20% opacity, red-brown. An odd nose - I really struggled to describe it. In the mouth, again some oddness, quite an abrupt finish with some tawny-ish flavours present.

Mushrooms. Tony and I were puzzling over it and asked Alex; once he'd answered it was so obvious we couldn't believe we hadn't identified it ourselves. As usual.

Also, the first time at a TPF event where I have moved out of the way fast on instinct because I thought someone was going to throw up; but in fact it turned out to be because they had just taken a sip of the Messias and wanted to get to a spittoon very quickly! Others claimed it was drinkable, though the number of glasses left at the end of the night suggest perhaps less so; I didn't. Either faulty or horrible; rated poor/faulty.

From Messias. Burnished copper, 40% opaque. Fresh cut young mushrooms on the nose. Spoiled palate. A bad bottle. NR

MsC66. Red, 40% opaque. Palate light, with mint. Short length. Past best.
