Vintage port not yet approved by the IVDP and intended for private consumption only (Oscar's son having been born in 2014).
Deep red in colour with a narrow rim. A lovely fruity nose of sour cherries. Sweet cherry fruit on the palate with gentle tannins that give a good core to the wine and support some nice floral elements on the late palate. The acidity shows briefly on the aftertaste, then a huge fruit, black chocolate and floral wave breaks into the mouth and holds for an enormous amount of time. This is an elegant port with a huge finish. 89-91/100. Pop 'n' pour.
