NV Quevedo White 30YO (bottled 2015)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2015. Honey brown in colour, 5% opaque with a light green rim. Almond paste on the nose with hints of quince jam. Thick in texture with gentle honey flavours and fresh apricot. Late on the palate there are daisies and fresh pineapple. Perhaps there is a hint of tannin on the aftertaste before the big and very fruit focused finish that is chewy and long lasting. This is a delicious port that mixes power with finesse. 90/100. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
