From Barao de Vilar. Olive brown colour, 20% opaque. Pistachio paste on the nose, lots of VA. Rounded entry, balanced and focused to deliver a nice mouthfeel and an enjoyable freshness. Deliciious aftertaste and a finish of citrus acidity that really delivers. An elegant tawny. 90/100. 22-Apr-16.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
