Scarlet in colour and opaque at the centre. Star fruit and persimmon on thenose. Sweet canned peaches and lychee in syrup on entry, smooth and sweet. Round, balanced and with soft tannins. Air adds life and sparkl with a lovely sweet blackcurrant depth before gentle tannins lead the finish. A great style of LBV - lighter and more elegant than some and a port for earlier drinking. 88/100. 22-Apr-16
