2009 Quinta do Noval LBV (Single Vineyard)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled unfiltered. Deep magenta, opaque. Soft and sweet mulberries on the nose. Poised entry, balanced and confident wih dry tannins lurking on the edge of the palate giving a clove-like complexity to the sweet fruit. A lovely mouthful with the poise and balance lasting throughout the palate. Fruit forward aftertaste. This is a good LBV of medium weight with 5-15 years ahead of it before it reaches its plateau. 89/100. 04-May-16
