2002 Croft Roeda

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Brick red in colour, 70% opaque. Bottle stink and stewed fruit dominate the nose. Brown sugar and caramelised fruit mix with the reductive cabbage flavours of the bottle stink on the palate with the dry tannins giving a dry feel to the mid-palate. Light brown sugar appears on the aftertaste before a long and dry finish. Not a well balanced bottle. 84/100. 04-May-16
