NV Cockburn Tawny 20YO (bottled 2015)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Drunk at lunch at Canais. Bottled 2015. A wonderful golden ochre colour, 30% opaque. Orange flowers and toffee on the nose. Toffee on the palate, thick in texture with good levels of acidity. Powerful date, honey and lime on the mid-palate, tasty and delicious. Lime dominates the aftertaste with a slight bitter edge to the honey finish. 88/100. 27-Jun-16. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
