30% opacity, amber, nicely clear. Toffee nose, later popcorn on the nose. Sweet entry, a little heat on the finish with some pepper. Hints of oranges. The oranges might have suggested Croft as the shipper, but it seems there was no Croft in 1933.

?33 = “TC (1933)”, one of six bought by Tony (perhaps with Alex) at auction. Tawnified old port. Mid-weight, mid-sweetness, heat early. Good, lovely even, but not great. Holding well, but drink up. Later the palate showed mint.

Was there any indication on the cork as to what is was?
