25% red-brown, orange rim. Violets and mocha nose. Fresh on the palate, very lively, gentle acidity mid palate. More dry than other vintages at this tasting. Delicate and elegant, coffee and red fruits.

Mature red colour with an orange rim; 50% opaque. Limited nose, showing little, but the palate is lovely with spiced fruit dominating. A breath of air across the palate releases a handful of tannins. Complex late palate with spice, fragrance and cranberries all sweetened by a caramel overlay. Delicious fruit leads through to the aftertaste and finish. A lovely palate and finish but somewhat let down by the hollow nose. 89/100. Decanted 4 hours.

N50, Osbourne & Perkins. Red, 40% opaque. Palate starts with heat, then big soft sweetness and dark cloying fruit.
