30% opacity, red, orange rim. Mint and candy on the nose. Lovely soft smooth entry, gentle heat mid palate, sweetness, mature red fruits. Long lip-licking finish, syrupy mouthfeel.

50% opaque, mature brick-red in colour. Surprising on the nose, rather aggressive and punchy - quite different from the younger wines tasted before this bottle; smelling quite young. Rounded and balanced entry, full of curved and rounded edges with soft caramel under the cranberry fruit. A slightly harsh and hot aftertaste leads to a caramel tone and a slightly bitter cranberry finish. Very enjoyable. 90/100. Decanted 3½ hours.

N55. Red, 40% opaque. Big, tannic, and at peak. Full, mid-sweetness, and lovely.
